Paintrock Ranch is located approximately four miles from Hyattville, Wyoming; a remote town of 100 friendly people. The principal occupation of the community is cattle ranching. Hyattville is located in the western foothills of the historic, southern Big Horn mountains. Above Hyattville is the unspoiled Cloud Peak Wilderness area with mountains above 13,000 feet. The entire area offers magnificent scenery, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, trail riding, hiking, skiing and relaxation in an unhurried and sparsely populated area. Trails accessible by foot, horse and 4X4 are nearly unlimited. Hyattville is approximately 90 miles east of Cody, the jumping off point to Yellowstone National Park.

As you climb toward Cloud Peak, temperatures often fall 20 degrees, even on the hottest, summer days.
